Introduction to Expression Refinement

چکیده
We present an outline of a refinement calculus for strict functional programming, based on four-valued logic and equational reasoning. The languages imitates the features known from the imperative Refinement Calculus in a language of expressions.

Synthesis and Characterization of Nanocrystalline Ni3Al Intermetallic during Mechanical Alloying Process
In this research, formation of nanocrystalline Ni3Al intermetallic from Ni and Al elemental powders by mechanical alloying (MA) process and its characterization was investigated. Therefore, the evolutions in microstructure such as phase transformation, oxidation in air and introduction of Fe impurity from milling media after MA were evaluated using XRD, Rietveld refinement, TEM, SEM, EDS and IC...
متن کاملEFFECT OF COOLING RATE AND GRAIN REFINEMENT ON THE MICROSEGREGATION IN Al-4.8 wt.% Cu ALLOY
Microsegregation is one of the most important phenomena occurs during solidification. It usually results in formation of some unexpected second phases which generally affect the mechanical properties and specially reduce the workability of casting products. The aim of this research is to study the effect of cooling rate and grain refinement on the microsegregation in Al-4.8 wt.% Cu. For this p...
متن کامل9 M ay 2 00 5 T - HOMOTOPY AND REFINEMENT OF OBSERVATION ( I ) : INTRODUCTION
This paper is the extended introduction of a series of papers about modelling T-homotopy by refinement of observation. The notion of T-homotopy equivalence is discussed. A new one is proposed and its behaviour with respect to other construction in dihomotopy theory is explained.

متن کاملLimit of Dislocation Density and Ultra-Grain-Refining on Severe Deformation in Iron
It is well-known that severe deformation to metals causes a direct grain refinement of the matrix without special heat-treatments due to the mechanism of dynamic continuous recrystallization (DCR). However, the microstructural revolution during severe deformation is seemed to be different depending on the deformation mode, namely the direction of deformation. In general, multi-directional defor...
